Wow! I was so blessed by the awesome Mother-Daughter sleepover that the Challengers and their leaders put together. The food, games, crafts, skits, and devotion times were both fun and refreshing. Though some of us got more sleep than others, it was a great night!

Spring is around the corner and there are many exciting upcoming events. The Derby Diner is on 3/7/09. We will need many hands to make this a great success. On 3/31/09 we will be having our annual tea party. Get your dresses and tea cups ready!!

Welcome to the Chapelgate Pioneer Girls Blog. Pioneer Girls is a Christ-centered, Bible-based, and relationship-focused program for girls in grades K-12. The girls participate in Bible lessons, arts & crafts, sports & games while developing important relational and leadership skills. Throughout the year there are special events such as the Mother-Daughter campout; Father-Daughter dance; Mother-Daughter sleepover; Tea Party; Derby Diner; and Father-Daughter campout. For more information about this program either as a Pioneer Girl or as a leader, please contact Holly Kosten at dkhk2@juno.com.

Leaders are currently needed in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. Mothers, newlyweds, singles, and grandmothers are welcome to come join the fun by helping in these classrooms. This is a wonderful ministry to young girls/ladies in our church and community.
